Home Deliveries
Note: This program is currently full. As of this time, there is no guaranteed timeline for when you will be added to services after expressing interest.
The Ferndale Food Bank offers home delivery within Ferndale city limits on a limited basis. This program is available for clients who are unable to come to the food bank during distribution due to a physical or mental disability, lack of transportation, short or long term illness, or other reason barring you from accessing in-person services. If you are currently an in-person client at the food bank, or you become an in-person client at the food bank in the future, you will become ineligible for home delivery.
Please note that the Ferndale Food Bank allows in-person clients to pick up food for up to two other households. Before applying to receive food via home delivery, we encourage you to see if a friend, family member, neighbor, or other community member is able to pick up food for you at the food bank. If this is their first time picking up food for another household, they can see the front desk for instructions when they arrive.
Home delivery boxes typically include a frozen protein, eggs, milk, produce, and some canned, boxed, and dried goods as available. There will be an option to share any necessary dietary information (such as allergies) in the interest form, but we are unable to accommodate specific requests or food preferences.
If you are currently receiving home delivery and would like to stop or pause services, please let us know via email at operations@ferndalefoodbank.org or by giving us a call at 360-380-2527.
